Indo-Bangla-Nepal International Media Conference-2023 was held on 17th May in the international hall of five star hotel Clark Siraj in Agra, famous for the traditional Taj Mahal of Uttar Pradesh, India.

More than 300 journalists from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Bhutan attended this international conference.

Minister of State for Law and Justice Affairs of the Central Government of India was present as the chief guest in the event. Satya Pal Singh Baghel. Uttar Pradesh Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay and saarc journalist Forum central president Raju lama was present as a special guest.

In the event, awards were given to journalists from different countries in several categories for their contribution to journalism.

A special award was given to persecuted Bangladeshi journalist Abul Kalam Azad for his investigative and courageous journalism.

It should be noted that journalist Abul Kalam Azad went to America to save his life after being subjected to various kinds of harassment including attack cases and torture in Bangladesh. He is currently staying in America.
